About Vitakai
No. Vitakai provides general wellness education and supplement guidance. It does not diagnose symptoms, prescribe treatment, or replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional. Speak with an appropriate professional if you have a medical condition, take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have significant or worsening symptoms, or are unsure whether a supplement is suitable for you.
Vitakai uses information you choose to provide, such as your wellness interests, Quick Health Check answers, Safety Profile and current plan, to tailor parts of the experience. The amount of personalization depends on which features you use and how complete your information is. Personalized guidance is still informational and cannot account for every aspect of your health.
Getting Started & Search
The Quick Health Check asks about areas such as your wellness goals, symptoms, general health, sleep, activity, diet, stress, current supplement use and preferred plan size. Some optional questions help identify situations where extra caution may be useful. The result is a rule-based wellness summary, not a medical assessment or diagnosis.
Quick Search lets you choose one common symptom or wellness concern and quickly view matching supplement guidance. It uses the selected concern to request suggestions, then applies available local plan and safety checks before presenting the result pathways. Quick Search requires an internet connection and may be temporarily unavailable if the search service cannot respond.
Intelligent Search lets you describe how you feel in your own words and can ask a few focused questions when more context would help. It uses the information you provide, relevant profile details and your current plan to produce personalized wellness guidance or explain why more information or professional review may be appropriate. It does not diagnose your symptoms.
Vitakai considers the concern and information you provide, then matches it with supplement information available to the app. Depending on the search experience, it may also consider profile context, your Safety Profile and supplements already in your current plan. Suggestions are informational wellness guidance and do not guarantee that a supplement will be effective or suitable for you.
The Recommended pathway is the leading option from the current search. Alternative pathways show other relevant options, while Explore offers additional choices that may be worth learning about. These sections organize the result; they are not prescriptions or guarantees of effectiveness. Open each supplement’s details and consider your personal circumstances before adding it to your plan.
Supplements & Science
Open Explore and choose Supplement Search. Enter a supplement name to search the Vitakai supplement library. Selecting a result opens its available details and plan actions. If there is no matching library entry, check the spelling or use the custom supplement option to organize and track the product manually.
Depending on the available record, Supplement Details may include a summary, key benefits, active ingredients, amounts, suggested timing, practical tips, cautions and science or reference links. The Simple, Practical and Science views organize the same educational record at different levels of detail. Some fields may be unavailable for particular supplements.
No. Dosage text and timing are general educational or organizational information drawn from available supplement records and simple scheduling guidance. Recommendation cards may initially use a default such as “1 capsule.” Always check the product label and follow advice from an appropriate healthcare professional, particularly if you take medication or have a health condition.
Some supplement records include scientific summaries, references or links that help you explore underlying research. They are provided for education and may include PubMed pages or searches. Vitakai does not perform a live systematic review of PubMed or NIH for every recommendation, and the presence of a reference does not mean a supplement is suitable or effective for everyone.
Safety
Your Safety Profile lets you record selected medication categories, health conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding information and related context. Vitakai uses this information as an additional layer of personalization and caution in supported flows. Keeping it current can help identify certain situations that deserve extra attention, but it is not a complete medical history or comprehensive interaction check.
Vitakai can identify selected concerns covered by its current safety information, including some medication-category interactions, pregnancy or breastfeeding cautions, condition-related cautions and overlap with supplements already in your plan. Coverage varies by supplement and feature. Safety information is intended to prompt care and further review, not to confirm that every other option is safe.
No. Vitakai’s safety checks cover selected known situations supported by the app’s current data. They do not replace a pharmacist, doctor or complete interaction database, and they may not account for every ingredient, dose, product formulation, medicine or health condition. Always review the product label and seek professional advice when personal safety is uncertain.
Read the warning before adding or taking the supplement. Check that your Safety Profile and current plan are accurate, review the product label, and speak with an appropriate healthcare professional if the warning involves medication, a health condition, pregnancy, breastfeeding or another significant concern. Do not treat “Continue Anyway” as confirmation that the choice is safe.
Seek professional advice before using a supplement if you take medication, have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, are planning surgery, or have concerns about ingredients or dosage. You should also seek appropriate medical care for severe, unusual or worsening symptoms. A Vitakai recommendation or lack of warning is not medical clearance.
Plans, Goals & Progress
A custom supplement is a manual plan entry. It can be scheduled and tracked, but it does not automatically receive the same structured ingredients, Learn More content or safety context as a supplement recognized in the Vitakai supplement library. Custom entry helps you organize your routine; it does not verify the product, dosage, ingredients or suitability.
Health Goals are trackable wellness habits such as hydration, walking, meditation, stretching, sleep routines, fasting windows and other everyday activities. You can add goals from the built-in library and use them alongside your supplement plan. Health Goals support routine-building and reflection; they are not medical treatment plans.
Adherence describes how consistently you complete the supplements or goals planned for a period. Progress views compare logged completions with relevant scheduled opportunities and present them as practical summaries. Items are not counted before they are added to your plan. Treat the result as a habit-tracking guide rather than a medical outcome or proof that a routine is effective.
The 30-day view gives a broader picture of recent completion patterns, consistency and changes over time. It can highlight stronger or weaker periods using your recorded plan and goal history. These insights are deterministic habit summaries, not clinical findings or predictions. Focus on the overall pattern rather than treating a single percentage as a precise health score.
Smart Scan
Smart Scan uses your device camera to recognize text on a supplement label. It attempts to identify a likely supplement name and may extract dosage or quantity information, then compares the result with the Vitakai supplement library. It is a convenience tool, not product authentication. Always review and correct every extracted field before saving.
No. The current Smart Scan reads visible label text and uses local matching; it does not use a barcode product database and does not authenticate the brand or product. Similar names, decorative labels, glare or incomplete text can produce an incorrect match. Confirm the product and all extracted information yourself before adding it to Daily Plan.
Privacy & Support
Vitakai stores much of your profile, plan, goals, reminder settings and tracking history on your device. Online searches send the text you submit to Vitakai’s search service, where it may be processed by an AI service to produce results. Selected identity, profile, plan or adherence data may also use configured online services in supported release modes. Do not enter unnecessary sensitive details into free-text search.
Email support@vitakai.app or visit www.vitakai.app. In the app, you can also open More, then Help & Support. Include a concise description of what you were trying to do and what happened. Do not send medication lists, detailed medical records or other unnecessary sensitive information. Response times and live-chat or telephone support are not currently specified.
